Collection: Naqshbandi Taj Hats

Discover the finest collection of Naqshbandi taj hats online. We call these “Naqshbandi” taj hats because they are frequently worn by followers of the Naqshbandi Sufi order. The word “taj” simply means crown in Arabic. Some use the name kufi or Islamic hat instead. It is important to note that this type of hat is not exclusive to the Naqshbandi's. They are worn by other Muslims as a matter of style and preference. The Naqshbandi taj hat comes in many colors and sizes. We currently offer Naqshbandi taj hats made from two types of fabric.

  1. Faux felt soft short pile fabric with a 3-mm rigid rubber foam, lined with thin interfacing spunbonded material.
  2. Web-like durable upholstery strength fabric with 3-mm flexible perforated light stabilizer foam, with spunbonded inner lining.

The Naqshbandi Sufis wear this style of hat because it is believed to be the closest to one of the styles worn by The Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Relics attributed to The Prophet, including his kufi hat, can be found on display in various Muslim countries around the world. For example, you can see his hats with turbans on display in Pakistan and Indonesia. Only Allah knows best (Wallahu A’lam).

The Naqshbandi adherents also strive to keep the sunnah of The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) alive by wearing loose Islamic clothing. Additionally, they also often wear turbans, cloaks, vests, and leather khuff socks.

The Naqshbandi Sufi Order got its name from Shah Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari QS. Naqshbandi Sufis are found across the world, and the order is known for its focus on silent remembrance (dhikr). One of the most well-known Naqshbandi teachers of West was the late Shaykh Nazim Haqqani RA. He passed away on May 7th, 2014. He is now followed by his son Shaykh Mehmet Adil and Shaykh Hisham Kabbani.

Our customers who purchase these Naqshbandi taj hats also like to purchase our Naqshabandi tamarind wood tasbihs. We also offer sunnah leather khuff that are often worn by Naqshbandi Sufis.
