Wooden Islamic prayer beads for everyday use and special prayers. Natural Indonesian johar wood tasbih (aka Asian Wenge wood with scientific name: cassia javanica) prayer beads with 2 dividers. Handcrafted with 99 8mm round beads with a muezzin (divider) at each 33-bead section and a lathed imam (or alif) bead. These prayer beads have an inside circumference of 29-inches (76cm) so they fit easily over the head. Strung on virtually unbreakable black nylon cord consisting of 6 woven strands. Handcrafted in Indonesia, johar wood has a beautiful character because of the contrast between the grains of wood. These tasbih prayer beads feature our adjustable tension design where you can set the distance between the beads to your liking. The beautiful hand sculpted ornamental stops are also uniquely placed at the ends above the alif instead of using string tassels. The beads and string are water-resistant but we do not use any finish or coating. The beads have a natural luster from polishing. Our johar wood tasbih also has an additional 10-bead counter above the alif for extensive repetitions. Perfect for men or women.
